Where the visit drops off

Four steps: any page, a lab page, the white paper, then a stored lead. Device and source narrow the first three. The lead count stays unfiltered because the form does not keep those fields.

Last 28 days

Each of the first three steps is a count of distinct anonymous visitors.

  • Visitnot filtered
  • Lab pagenot filtered · drop-off —
  • White papernot filtered · drop-off —
  • Leadnot filtered · drop-off —

How a step is counted

  1. Visit: a stored page_view in the last 28 days. Crawler and headless rows are left out.
  2. Lab page: that same visitor also has a page_view whose path is /lab or starts with /lab/.
  3. White paper: a page_view whose path is /white-paper.
  4. Lead: rows in white_paper_lead created in the same window. Drop-off from the white paper uses that count directly, and it is hidden when a device or source filter is on because the form does not store either.

Drop-off from step A to step B is 1 − B / A. When A is 0, the rate is blank.
