Who comes back
Each row is a Monday-start week of first visits. The cells are the share of that group with a page view in a later week.
Weekly cohorts
Each row is the week of a visitor’s first stored page view.
| First week | Size | Week 0 | Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 |
|---|
No stored page views yet.
The week rule
- Take stored page views. Leave out crawler and headless rows.
- A week starts Monday 00:00 UTC. The cohort week is the earliest week for that anonymous visitor.
- Week 0 is everyone in the cohort, so it is 100%. Week k is the share who have any page view in the Monday that is k weeks later.
- The grid keeps the latest eight cohorts and six week offsets. A later week that has not happened yet stays at 0, which is not the same as a measured return of zero people.
