UTM link builder
A campaign link is a path plus three slugs. GA4 stores them as the session source, medium, and campaign. The source lab uses the same rule.
Naming
- Lowercase slugs. Hyphens between words. No spaces, no email addresses, no full sentences.
- Source is the place. Medium is the channel. Campaign is the promotion, shared by every link in that effort.
- Term and content are optional. Use them when one campaign has several keywords or creatives.
- GA4 reads these as session source, session medium, and session campaign. If any of the three is present, the source lab’s campaign rule wins over the referrer.

How this visit is attributed
GA4 maps the parameters on the landing URL. The source lab uses the same three fields and ignores the referrer when any of them is set.
